18-22 is a confusing age. I got friends getting married, some in prison, and some still have to ask their parents to stay out past curfew.

I’ve still got friends without their license but other friends having children. Like, it really is a wild age to have.

One day you will thank yourself for never giving up.
Be alone. Eat alone, take yourself on dates, sleep alone. In the midst of this you will learn about yourself. You will grow, you will learn what inspires you. You will cultivate your own dreams, your own beliefs, your own stunning clarity. And when you do meet the right person who makes your cells dance, you will be sure of it because you are sure of yourself.

It’s funny how we all sleep differently. I sleep on my side, my roommate sleeps on her back, my ex sleeps with everybody. That sorta thing.

I think about this quote all the time and I feel like it explains a lot of things about human behavior

“Are you okay? What happened to you?”

“Life.”

I’m too fucking terrified to reach out for help.

My heart can’t possibly break when it wasn’t even whole to start with it.

Thank you for being my friend when I needed it most. And fuck you for then tearing my apart.
